In a climate filled with “fake news” – I can assure you this is the real deal. Here’s the scoop.

The company responsible for producing the world’s most expensive TV is Stuart Hughes. This isn’t the first time Stuart Hughes has been in the news for their incredibly creative (and expensive) electronics. In addition to their $2.25 million TV set, Stuart Hughes also boasts the world’s most expensive game console — a Wii containing 2,500 grams of solid 22ct gold with diamond buttons — and a number of gold-diamond cell phones.

PrestigeHD Supreme

In case $2.25 million is just a little outside of your budget, don’t worry, SH also produced a “cheaper” model.  The new luxury line starts with two 55-inch TV sets, the  edition and the PrestigeHD Supreme. writes that the PrestigeHD Supreme has a base and outer frame done in 22ct gold and encrusted with 48 diamonds. The inner screen bezel is made up from alligator skin and the price tag is roughly $1.5 million.

PrestigeHD Supreme Rose

Even more expensive is the Supreme Rose edition. True to its name, the outer frame of the Supreme Rose edition are crafted in 28 kilograms of solid 18ct rose gold. The frame contains 72 round cut 1ct diamonds. The Rose edition gets the alligator treatment too, with hand stitched alligator skin making up the inner bezel. The Rose edition costs an additional $750,000, bringing the total price tag for this exquisite TV set up to a whopping total of $2.25 million!
